Likely not.

There was no Ten Club ticketing for Lollapalooza in 2007.

If this happens, I will literally **** myself.

I would love to see Pearl Jam & Beastie Boys.... they were part of the soundtrack to my jr. high, hs & college years. I doubt this will happen... it seems like these sorts of rumors are present every year prior to the lineup coming out. Hope I'm wrong.

Saw the Beasties in 98 in Ft Worth. Good show. Lots of old and new; lots of punk and hip hop.

if that happens, i would actually contemplate going back to ACL after swearing it off....that is assuming they don't take a crap on the undercard.

These are the same rumors that come out every year and it sounds like a fantastic set of headliners. They never come true. I think last year it was rumored to be Pearl Jam and Radiohead. I do think Kings of Leon is confirmed through the band, however.

we are close enough to the announcement now that alot of the leaks could be legit

More excited about Bonnaroo this year than ACL - and more so since I'll actually be living in Tennessee. If you haven't looked at the lineup, check it out.

oops...guess i missed this one. i just added that info to the end of another thread. i'm not super excited for these headliners, but i would certainly buy a ticket to the fest for them.

i'm hoping for a GLO aftershow, though.

That lineup is pretty sick if it happens.

Hadn't seen BB in a decade and a half or so & KOL would be a good time.

i'd probably be more excited about BB if i wasn't going to see them at bonnaroo. but KoL i'm definitely excited for.

hopefully their undercard is really strong. otherwise i'm not sure those headliners are enough.

I am actually hoping to see Ben Harper & the Relentless 7 at ACL or Lolla. I was pretty burned out on him, but I like the new direction/return to form with the more rock & blues centric sound.

So, I'm thinking. Doesn't PJ and BB and DMB appeal to the old age Gen Xers?

If you mean the greatest generation, absolutely.

I'm a long time 10 club member, eff that if their first texas date in ages is ACL. I hate festivals.

I'm not big on festivals either, but I'd go to see the Beasties. PJ always puts on a hell of a show, and regardless what you think of DMB, they put on a damn good show too. I don't really care about GO. I'm not a huge Kings of Leon fan...really like some of their stuff, can't stand some of their stuff, but I'd definitely see them.

If the undercard is good, I'll seriously consider flying back.

i have faith that the undercard will be really strong this year. other than phish at roo and the dead at roth, the headliners for most fests have been pretty underwhelming this summer. but, the undercards have been stellar, and there were so many great albums put out last year.

it's highly unlikely that these are ALL rumors. the beastie boys are at bonnaroo this year, so why not ACL? KoL is confirmed through the band, PJ usually only plays one fest per year, and have yet to make it onto any other lineup. GO is an Austin band, but i don't think they'll "headline". they'll probably pre-headline and have a sweet aftershow somewhere. and DMB is touring all summer, with their last date being 10/2 in tulsa, ok. plenty close enough to head to austin afterwards and headline(what i would guess) is Sunday.

I'd rather it not be at a festival, but I will take whatever PJ I can get!

I'd love to see some of those bands, but I've never been to a festival. It sounds like a chitty time.

city fests are easy as heck. especially ACL. although, it makes it easier if you know someone who lives here so you don't have to deal with a hotel.

and with it being in october now, hopefully the days of 107 temps are in the past.

Lolla is an ideal festival with its location right in downtown Chicago and access to mass transit.

ACL is a little more of a pain since coming and going during the day isn't quite as easy. You certainly aren't a five minute walk from museums or a multitude of dining options like you are with Lolla.

Something like Bonnaroo takes a much more serious commitment and tolerance for more lax hygiene practices.
