It is probably obvious, but I think the whole intent with the setting was to have these guys in generic cubes, a generic office building, a generic office park, generic apartment complexes, and generic, cheesy chain restaurants. They probably did everything they could to minimize the feeling that we are in Austin, Dallas, or anywhere in particular, especially anywhere with an identity and character. Most movies set in Austin take the opposite approach and show parts of the city that are unique.
