Not that she really counts, but I was watching something this weekend that said that Eva Longoria is an Aggie..got her BA in Kines...true?

She was at TAMU-CC or Kingsville.

Chris is Sam Torn's son. Sam Torn now owns Camp Ozark up in Arkansas, I worked for him up there one summer. Pretty amazing family.
once an Ag always an Ag Dough. I thought he came to A&M a couple of years ago to the Cushing Library to read some passages to people.

According to the Directory of Former Students, you are incorrect. Elmore Rual Torn Jr. (aka Rip) graduated from A&M in 1952 with a B.A. in Agriculture....listed right below his father.

I believe IMDB says he got his undergrad from A&M and a Master's from tu.
You can search for him on www.aggienetwork.com. His real name is Elmore Torn, Jr. Class of 1952. Degree was in Animal Husbandry.
that's cool. so teh texags myth that he transferred is not true...interesting. we can call him our own again... all is forgiven

Dough...read the thread again. It was discovered that Torn graduated from A&M and then got his masters at t.u. I believe that is what he was referring to.

Capps, I realize both what was discovered and what he was referring to. The point, though, is that the 'discovery' wasn't made until after I made my erroneous post.
