The summer movie season officially kicks off for me Thursday night at 8pm!

I'm pretty pumped.

Very good movie!! ...Robert Downey Jr. really nailed it!!

A friend went last night and said it was as great as he was expecting.

I've seen the trailers and it has be hyped pretty well. What is the premise of this movie? Is this a comic book series? Besides the Black Sabbath song, I had never heard of Iron Man until last year when I saw the first teaser trailer.

My 9 year old son just got invited to see this movie with some classmates (birthday party)...is it appropriate for kids of that age?

We saw Transformers with him and he loved it. I get the impression that this movie got it's PG-13 rating for similar content...

Am I the only one that's a little weary of all the comic book movies? There have been a couple of good ones and several horrible ones over the past few years. I'm sure this one will have spectacular special effects, wink-at-the-camera one-liners, and over-the-top villains. I can't help feeling that I've seen it all before.

I've never really been into comics, so I know very little about the Iron Man story. For those of you that are more familiar with it, what will make this latest "best comic book movie EVAR" stand out from the rest?

Because Iron Man/Tony Stark isn't a square.

I was surprised with the whole Ironman movie when it was first announced. Honestly...being a former comic book collector...I never enjoyed any of the Ironman comics I read. I always thought it would be better to watch than to read. Here's to hoping I'm right.

What else is Hollywood going to do? They ran out of 70's era tv shows a few years back.

I'm waiting for the movie remake of the thundercats.

Dallas Morning News gave it a B+. Hearing all good things about it.

Almost time for the 8 showing. I can't wait.

Improvements in special effects and a built in audience is the reason so many comics have been brought to film in the past decade.

I never read Iron Man, but I am looking forward to this movie just based on the trailer.

This movie turned it up to 11. Highly recommended. Stay after credits...

havent seen it yet but when i heard that RDJr was going to play the arrogant bastid of Tony Stark i knew he was going to be NAILS! Cant wait to see it.

Seeing it Monday. Can't Wait. Also agree with Iceman about Downey. When I heard he was Iron Man, I became very interested just by what few Iron Man comics I had read when I was younger.

If you're a comic fan, stay after the looooong credits. You will NOT be disappointed! Oh, and in case you're wondering, you'll have plenty of time to goto the bathroom, get some more candy, and even take a nap before the credits are over with.

Iron Man was my favorite comic growing up. That said, this movie was AWESOME. As far as backstory and what-not, they stayed very true to the material.

Stay for the credits, you will not be dissapointed!

Amazing movie. And now I have to go see it again because I did not stay through the credits. I think this tops Batman Begins as the best superhero movie. VERY WELL DONE!!!!!

Just watched with my boys and I thought it was GREAT!

Boys liked too. They kept saying COOOL! during the whole movie.

Great movie and great message! Stan Lee and co were/are ahead of their time.
