flaith, here is a nice little '04 Z06 for the same price as a new S2000. Surely with a really good driver, either this or the 911, could beat the S2000.

you're getting warmer... make no mistake, the c5 z06 is one of my favorite cars of all time, and i plan to buy one as soon as i graduate.

problem is, it's not in the same class. and has over twice the engine size... so of course it would outperform it.

well i apologize for the confusion.

of course there are "better cars" for that money on the market. I would buy a new STi before I bought a new s2000, for instance.

i was merely defending it from an engineering/car enthusiast standpoint as an amazing roadster with an incredible engine... truly the king of its class.
