all I am saying, is that if you are gonna teach someone about something that most people say sets our school apart, at least get it right. Don't just regurgitate something out of a binder that you have no clue on if its true or not.
I agree with you on that. The stuff given to us is correct as far as I can tell. It's just when some of them tell it they change it themselves. Unfortunately, you can't control if OLs change stuff.
So Maggies is just a soriority without Greek letters from what I can gather
maggies also costs about $1,000 dollars less....

ha ha ha ha AOLP is for orientations and is mostly a bunch of kids that didn't make fish camp. keep orientation for getting registered and tours and the basic college stuff. fish camp was for the brainwashing - traditions hullabaloo

I wouldn't have done FC if you paid me. There were a lot of fish camp people in AOLP. I did it for the resume purposes. Interviews really seems to like it.

vetachi-ser sounds like one of those that likes to critize while he sits on his ass and does nothing about it.
I enjoyed my time with AOLP and was very dedicated to it when I was in it. I couldn't do it again due to taking an internship. Yes it has the benefit of looking good on my resume, but I did enjoy helping the fish get ready for their freshman year. I didn't see you waking up at 7am to help completely clueless fish begin their time at Aggieland.

My basic point is the MOST of the people in AOLP know their stuff. Regardless of what people think we try to teach traditions. The students coming into A&M now seem to care less and less every year about the traditons. It's just how it is I guess. And it's good to see you involved as well.
Edit: Not to start stuff up again, but student senate is pretty much purely for one's own gain.

I have a couple friends that do/did AOLP and they had a good time with it...neither did it to "look good"...if thats your true motivation then i kinda feel sorry for you
i have myself a little overinvolved but not because it looks good but because its a good time and it gives me a chance to get to know so many more people on this campus
