re: "not copying" Layne's, do yall mean that both places came up with the idea on their own? it can't be their founding dates. Layne's open in 1994, Cane's opened in 1996.
and they are all copied from Zaxbys, which is better than both.

They opened a Raising Canes in Dallas a few months back....... it's great!
When I was doing relief work in Oct 05 down in N.O., Rasing Canes in Metarie was one of the very first restaurants to re-open. People would line up there for hours just to eat some chicken strips (and only the drive-thru was open). They have one in Lewisville now. I ate there and was not too impressed with it. I definitely would not wait in line a couple of hours to eat their food.
I looked, there is one on coit and campbell. that isn't dallas. It's in a 972 area code, and outside of 635.
That means I will never ever go there.

Hmm...I just learned that part of Dallas is in Denton County. Strange.
Part of Dallas is also in Collin County......... it's confusing..........
I knew about the Collin County part because of George Bush, but I assumed it ended at the Tollway.
