I just took my dog into the backyard to pee and the neighbor's dog wouldn't stop barking. After about a minute of barking, the neighbor stormed outside, yelled "shut up!" and kicked the dog in the ribs. I don't think he saw me. I've never seen anything like this.

My dog gets kicked on a daily basis. Honestly she's so damn hard headed she requires a little kick every once in a while. Not hard, I mean i dont kick her across the yard but i do nudge her a little. So unless your neighbor kicked the crap out of her and knocked her across the yard or hurt her, stay out of his business and let him discipline his dog

I don't want to call animal control. I always see his kids playing with the dog and I don't want to see them lose their dog. I might have to talk to him about it if I see it happen again, though.

Kicking a dog is not discipline. Nudging is one thing, force upon impact is completely different. If it was hard enough you felt the need to tell us about it then it was hard enough for animal control to be called.

I didn't say that it was discipline. I just don't know what to do about it. How would you feel if you were 9 years old and your dog was taken away because your dumbass dad had a bad day?

Sometimes my dog follows me into the bathroom when I pee. He just sits there with this confused look on his face. It's hilarious.

We have to "nudge" our dog around all the time. We give him tons of attention and mom is home during the day. Even with all of that he is constantly underfoot when walking around so if he is in the way...my mom "nudges" him.

It's definitely no kick, but I think he thinks it is a game lol.

I can't go to the bathroom at all alone. Both dogs follow me into the bathroom or, if I shut them out, they sit outside the bathroom panting while they wait on me. They follow me EVERYWHERE.

I dropped my roommate's cat from the second floor of the townhouse down to the first floor on the couch. (We had an upstairs hallway open to the downstairs kinda thing.) The cat was fine. It was good fun for all involved. Just don't tell my roommate.
