Isn't Chris Pappas an Ag? If so, why isn't BCS teeming with Pappas restaurants?
I'm going to go out on a limb...b/c he is a businessman first. Sometimes it just doesn't make sense to have a restaurant here unless you have the ability to:
1) Have a market for your product. Let's face it I love the Pappas restaurants but their price point is a little higher than many places. Considering I have seen many complain on here about Rudy's being "too expensive" I think that's a sure bet.
2) Be able to move product. We are not in Houston or Dallas by any means and they don't have established supply lines. Sure we can have a Pappas here but you wont see it until he's built out his DFW and Houston (as well as other area) markets.
3) It seems they usually locate restaurants next to each other. We can't support multiple Pappas restaurants.
The thing that cracks me up most about these comments is that b/c he is an ag he would care what we eat after a football game.
