used to be a place in Santa Fe named El Rancho...it was like eating with his(the owner's) family...great place

in Bryan, Nortenos was always my favorite...

in G=town there is a little place called Mariachi's de Jalisco that I really like

With the taqueria's on every corner, it's kind of hit and miss, depending on your taste. The wife and I like the one (can't remember the name of it to save my life) on Holly between Staples and Airline. It's in the shopping center behind the bank at the corner of Airline and Holly.

I'll find it ........ eventually. I just don't have a need to go into that part of corpus yet. Right now, if it isn't at 5 Points, down I-37, or on Ocean Blvd., I don't go.

There's a restuarant(the Palms???) in Robstown across from the fairgrounds that used to be pretty good. Haven't been there in 5 years or so, though.

Lupe Tortilla on 59 near Kirby in Houston has badass fajitas.

Joe T. Garcia is highly over-rated. I am a fan of Posado's off on I-35 near 820 kind of in the Fossil Creek area.

Mi Cocina is good for its prices. I am a big fan of #3 lunch special.

Never been to Norteno's

Gina's (across the street from Norteno's, and same owner) is good though. The Plato de Bombero is good.

Don Juans in McAllen is also pretty damn good.

gina's is 2 blocks down and one block over from Nortenos..not the same owner
