I have not, Dallas. But I'll definitely make a note to try it out next time I'm in Mi Co's.
Coco Loco @ Welsh & SW Pkwy has pretty good enchiladas.
Rodriguez Inn in Haskell was the place back home to go for cheap, homemade Mexican food served in a shack of a building. The Burrito Deluxe plate was outstanding. You only ordered iced tea in the evenings, because soft drinks were poured out of 2 liter bottles that had been opened at lunch and were flat by 6:00 pm.
Melissa's Kitchen in Stamford hasn't been open very long, but they make great homemade Mexican food. The enchiladas are impressive, the hot sauce will reach up and bite you, and the breakfast burritos (particularly the bean and bacon) are absolutely outstanding.
Then there was Burrito Joe, who comes around the square in Stamford in the mornings to sell breakfast burritos. He sells tamales every couple of months, and they're the best tamales in the state of Texas.
For chains, nothing tops Abuelo's. In fact, chain or not, it ranks high on the list of great Mexican food in Texas. C.S. restaurants are getting a serious upgrade by one opening down here.
If you can't tell, I like Mexican food.
