What ended up happening KIA?

I saw CSPD give a guy on a bike a ticket for running a stop sign a few months ago. The CSPD really sucks.

fwiw, it is illegal to honk your horn for no apparent reason. Stupid rule, I know, but it's on the books. Still shouldn't have given you a ticket though.

I didn't read all three pages, but I don't think this is a troll. I know several people who got tickets for doing that in the parking garage.

My sister's car doesn't have power steering, and the horn honking button area is quite large. I've honked the horn on accident a few times, just trying to make a turn while looking the other direction. How unfortunate.

One of my brothers got stopped a little more than a year ago.

When the police officer got out of his car, he forgot to put it in park and apply the parking break. The police car ended up running into my brother's pickup.

That brother has a strong resemblance to Santa Claus. The police chief was teasing the one who ran into him with "I can't believe you stopped Santa Claus (slight pause) and ran into his sleigh."

I was a part of this little incident but it was posted long before I joined TA. A small honk is not honking from the top floor all the way to the line to get out of the parking garage.

I drive an old 88 Bronco and one day was pulled over after the officer followed 10 feet behind my bumper for a little over a mile. He pulled me over right infront of my apartment and when I asked why he pulled me over he hesitated, and then looked at my expired tag on the windsheild and tapped it, saying "that's why."

I met the prosecutor with three rolls of film proving in order to see that tag he'd have to look through my bumper, back seat, front seat, and my head - then read 2 inch text backwards. The ticket was quickly dismissed before it reached trial.

Basically the cop had no reason to pull me over, he just got lucky. Oh, wait, my license plate has a '94 sticker on it - but those are null and void since they were easily stolen; hence the tags inside the windsheild now.

I think if an officer is obviously d*cking you around and you get the charges dropped, you should be able to punch them in the face - hard.

College Station has always been governed as a series of schemes to extract money from college students and their parents. I was much happier (after college) living in Bryan.

I had a student worker of mine get a ticket for rolling through a Southgate stop sign... on his bicycle.

this probably was me, if it was on campus. I got stopped several times on my bike while living on campus '05-'07. They always asked to get off my bike just like being asked to step away from a lethal weapon..
