I am planning on getting a set for graduation...

How much do they cost? And is there a site that I can search to make sure that the ones that I want are not taken?

I believe that 'vanilla' A&M tags cost an $30 more than Texas plates.

If you want them personalized, you pay a little more still ($15) and you fill out a form with your request...I think that you can make up to four requests on a single form, in case your first few choices are taken.

check out the texas dot website...you can download the forms there...
