Since you obviously missed the point of my post (big surprise), let me spell it out for you...

THE POINT: Any moron can argue that world hunger, public education funding, health insurance, etc. could have all been funded with the tax dollars we instead spent on X, Y, or Z.

It is a stupid, illogical argument.

I can argue that, with the money our government has wasted on failing public schools, the War on Drugs, and $600 toilets, we could have instead allocated millions of dollars towards eradicating homelessness in our urban areas.

So what?

What good would universal health insurance or great public schools do any of us if we're being attacked and blown up by terrorists?

It's just cliched and been rehashed to death.

After all, it was proven that Saddam was personally responsible for killing thousands of Americans in multiple attacks, thereby justifying a thousand more Americans to go over there and die.

Really it's that expensive? I thought it was free because we took all their oil. After all that's what it was about right?
