But yeah, I still call it Lagniappe and my husband looks at me funny since he's a current student.

Old Army is Bernie's and nothing else. Also going to the airport bar to use your aggiebucks for beer.

Or Jose's (when they took Aggiebucks for a while) or the Chicken.

the aggie meal credit is $2 now. it pretty much only works at the c-stores.

I ate at "The Other Burger" yesterday. Definitely not up to Whataburger taste standards, and the biggest disappointment of them all- no fancy ketchup tubs.
First they close the Southside dungeon, now this. Sigh

I had a meal plan 2 summers ago and I was able to eat Chick Fil A everyday with it...and I did. That incuded a sandwich, fries, 2 cookies and a drink. When did they go back to the old meal credit?

What is really messed up is that the people on Southside don't have Commons dining hall anymore. Why buy a meal plan if you live over there? Does anyone know if they are going to put something there again?

According to this website a meal credit is lot more than 2 dollars based on what you get and you have unlimited outbound meals.

I don't know what "meal credit" people are talking about. They still do the Outbound meal plan that you remember.

And yeah, supposedly there is something in the works for where the Dungeon used to be. There are lots of piping problems down there though.

Back in Old New Army days, meal plans included "Aggie Meal Credits". You could use up to 1/3 of your meal credits to buy any food you wanted: $4 worth for each meal credit.

I had a friend and his g/f that introduced me and my now fiance at Whataburger in the underground... there go my anniversary ideas for the future. (Don't worry I paid for our lunch that day on my outbound of course)

The meal credit is $2 now!!!! Please tell me they still at least have the 'outbound' Totino's pizzas??

There hasn't been a Taco Bueno down there since December 1999. (I remember the '03ers regretting not having it anymore.) You're just now finding this out?

Given that I haven't been in the Underground since around September 99, yes. I'm just finding out now. Riverside Campus is a black hole of non-existence.

Didn't they also used to do meal plans where you basically got Aggie Bucks at cheaper than 1-for-1? It was like you could get five meals a week and $500 in Aggie Bucks for not much more than $500 bucks? I don't remember exactly how it much it cost, but I remember it as a pretty good deal.

What's at Riverside Campus? I've never been there.

Three or four meal credits could get two large Bernie's pizzas after 10 PM. They were nasty and greasy, but we didn't know any better.
