Any married men on here whose wives have gotten boob jobs while they were married? Any married women? I'm just curious.....my wife entertains the idea from time to time (she's a B) but we're not done having kids yet.

Thoughts? A friend of mine swears that doing such will bring great harm to one's marriage. i.e.: she'll be cheating on me in a year.

it can go either way. I have two friends that had their wives leave them after getting them a boob job. One of them, the guy probably could have done more with his marriage then he did. One, the wife started getting noticed and started having affairs. It just depends. if it is worth the risk, then go ahead. if not, then just go to the nudie bar and get your boob fill there.

I'm not encouraging her to get a boob job, she just wants one. Or at least she's indicated that in the past. I actually have no problem with it, except for the cost. I don't think it will hurt my marriage, and if it did, my marriage has bigger problems than boobs. No pun intended.

I'm just curious how guys feel about their wives getting boob jobs.

how about:

a woman who wants to get breast implants is more likely to have low self esteem

women w/ low self esteem are more likely to look for love from people who will give them positive reinforcement, husband/boyfriend or not.

I would not want to be with a woman that wanted to change herself. I want someone that is happy with who they are/what they look like. THe only changing I would like is through exercise.

from my experiences with boob jobs the women didn't feel like they looked good, so they got a boob job which made them feel better about themselves because in their eyes they looked better...

I didn't marry my wife for her boobs, and if she wanted a boob job done (thank God she doesn't), I wouldn't allow it. I think it is a waste of money.

my only advice to the ladies:

if you're gonna show up at your 3yo nephew's birthday party (as hosted by his dad, your brother) at the pool, be kind enough to mention the boob job to the family before you show up in a bikini 3 sizes larger.

The only married woman I personally that has has a boob job had a couple of very specific reasons for getting it done (no pun intended). Two years ago, she lost a lot of weight after her second wedding. She and her new husband both got on Atkins and really changed their lives.

One weekend she was taking her kids to a waterpark in Houston, and her ex made serveral nasty remarks about how she looked like a skinny kid with stretch marks and loose skin. She said she blew up and made a huge scene at the park and was asked to leave. That night she decided to have a whole new makeover, boob job, tummy tuck, wardrobe, and hair.

Before the surgery, she looked good but always wore loose pants and concealling tops as she was inwardly self-conscious about her body. Afterwards, she began wearing those amazing low-cut jeans, tight tops, and has a whole new attitude.

As a manager of a major retail establishment dominated by men, she has found that her bigger boobs make men forget how smart she is because they are so distracted by the novelty of her newfound sex appeal and she has used this to her advantage alot. She has said that she is more than glad to flaunt it in her ex's face by wearing clothes in front of him that she would have never won while with him. It has change her life for the better.



All that being said, I also know several men who have paid for said augmentation and have nothing to show for it now but painful memories and a monthly bill (How do you finance boobs and how would they repossess them if you didn't pay?) I would say wait til after kids, and be sure you both talk to several people who have had it done.

All in all its just a means to either avoid, cover up, or run from something deeper. Its a symptom of a problem, not the problem itself. It will only settle the issue for a little while, then what?

If you're paying for the surgery, just make sure to take a security interest in her new boobs, so that if she divorces you in a year you can foreclose on her chest and have a sheriff auction off those grapefruits for cash.

Great argument, in theory. But who out there is 100% happy with themselves and, if given the opportunity, would not change anything? Self-esteem derives from how you see yourself. If you are happy with your job, your personality, your marriage, etc. but unhappy with some physical aspect of yourself, changing that physical aspect for the better will make you look more favorably upon yourself and thus have better self-esteem. Many times changing that physical aspect can be accomplished by diet or exercise, but sometimes (like in the case of boobs) it cannot, and requires surgery.

Not really. Steroids are proven to be harmful to your health in almost every case. Boob jobs, on the other hand, are rarely harmful to the woman. Besides, you know as well as I do that if steroids were harmless, almost every guy would take them. And if there was really a magic pill out there that gave you an extra 2-3 inches, every guy would take that as well.

My sister-in-law got new boobs. She was cheating on my brother w/in a year.

Dallas, I will agree with your first portion of your response to a degree. But what legnth is considered excessive? Physically altering your appearance for self betterment through changing your eating habits (most important) and exercize are much different than having surgery performed. I understand your argument, however I can not agree with it totally. Nor was my position meant to be taken in an absolute manner. I would agree that there is perhaps always room for improvement with most anything in my life. But to pay thousands of dollars to surgically change my physical appearance for the sake of feeling better about myself or to increase my self esteem definitely warrants review.

No, they arent necessarily proven to be harmful to your health in any situation other than abuse. Anything can be bad if abused. Anabolic steroids are used for many different medical purposes beyond the recreational use. Even in recreational use, it isnt necessarily harmful if not abused. Your belief that if steroids were harmful every guy would use them is incorrect in my opinion. How much have you actually researched anabolics to attain that position? I guess you only hear what we are fead via the media and your coaches. I could equally discuss the many cases of breast implants gone bad. I sincerely doubt every guy would take the pill as well.

My friend's wife left him shortly after having a boob job, along w/ some liposuction, tummy tuck and face lift. Kids involved. Ugly and sad.

On the bright side, I would've hit it if she had asked me really nice; she was a knockout.

The fake one's are alright with strippers and easy chicks, I mean it goes with the territory and you're not going to have to spend your life with them. If she insists just make sure the gets the ones that go underneath the boobage tissue; those don't feel like you're grabbing two softballs all of the time.

We have two very good friends (couples) where the wives have both gotten boob jobs. In the most recent case she used to be a very full C cup but after three kiddos she turned into as she would say a "wet tea bag A cup". She is now a solid D. I forgot how many cc's her implants which are under the muscle are. Anyway, she is happier that she no longer "looks like a boy in the chest". She just turned 31 and looks fine. She also spent 5K per boob for this.

I just don't see it as worth it at all.

Get it done. The M I L Fs with implants enhance the scenery at my gym. It's much better than looking at the cows who lay around at a station for ten minutes without doing any real work.

my mom and dad have a horrible marriage as is, and she recently lost a whole bunch of weight and well, her boobs went too. She has been talking about getting one done kind of recently. But, I just think she will just have my dad pay for it and then divorce him. I already suspect that she's cheating..
