My company has an agreement with GMAC that allows employees to purchase new vehicles with their "V plan" (vendor). I believe this is typically 5% over the GMAC employee price. Has anyone ever purchase a vehicle under one of these plans? If so, how much does it typically knock off of the MSRP? I am trying to calculate what my payment would be.

My dad bought a Tahoe using something like this...saved money but I don't know how much.

EDIT - Some employee plans are still over invoice, so 5% over the employee price might not be all that great.

TAMUS has a similar agreement with Ford (Ford X Plan). I would think that GMAC would have a website similar to the Ford site (www.Fordpartner.com). If they do have one, you'll be able to research the vehicles and applicable discounts. Check with your HR to see if they have a website and if any specific data is required.
