Enjoy supporting LSU football. Maybe wash it down with Tito's vodka.
Well, any Ags going to step up and fill the void?
Cane's is pretty much run out of Plano now anyways, employ plenty of Ags there.

I've never been to Laynes, but Canes sucks. They don't season their chicken.

+1
The sheer volume of posts arguing over which one is better, however, establishes beyond doubt that Laynes also sucks. If it is not immediately and obviously superior to Cane's, it cannot be good.
Cane's is fast food for people with the palate of a toddler.

Hands down, the best fast food fried chicken.

Laynes started spiraling the second they decided to cash out.
The demise was gradual...then it was SUDDEN.

It was never that great; it benefitted from location, cheap prices, and limited options.
And the crack sauce until Cane's copied it.
They both copied it from Guthrie's.
I thought it was Zaxby's?
But I've I've seen multiple theories on who originated the chicken tender combo formula.

Was in Cstat today at lunch and stopped in for some good chicken and this is the pathetic quality we get now. Its not even strips anymore, its oversized nuggets. This is not worth $9.
Last time I stop in here.
Yes, the name fits.
Rant over.
The original Laynes was never good.
The new franchise locations are way better.

Did they cash out in the 90's? It was garbage when I was at A&M from 01-06.

I disagree. We used to go there after every home game in 06. That was PEAK Layne's.
