Another beautiful fall day in west Georgia/east Alabama. Group Bible study this morning. Critters have been fed and Colombian Supremo coffee is brewed.

Because a good day starts with good coffee.

My head didn't 'splode yesterday! Yay!

Just felt like it though. Feel wasted but much better. Did all the pills yesterday. We love pills.

- Reset for the week. This is now my Monday
- Breakfast tacos, no caffeine
- Random life chores I have been putting off that must be attended to.....soon-ish
- Wash and clean out the truck later. Slowly start getting it ready for the upcoming travel months

FLEAS!!

I gave Callie a Capstar on Sunday, nine days ago, and hadn't seen any fleas since. Until yesterday. She's infested again and Lucy is also infested this time. Going to take Benny to school in a little while and then give each of the cats another Capstar. Callie didn't react well last time, so I don't want to give it to them until I'm back from dropping Benny off.

I'm also going to use the carpet treatment I bought, which I'm supposed to put under the sofa cushions as well.

  • Slept terribly. Max 2 hours. Not sure what the heck was going on.
  • Whataburger kids meal chicken strips for breakfast. And a 44 oz Diet Coke.
  • Meetings all morning.
  • Hopefully more of quiet afternoon but do have some spreadsheet/audit work to day.

Gave the kitties both flea medicine 40 minutes ago. The fleas are dying off but apparently biting like mad before they do. Poor kitties.

Waiting on the estimate for the truck.
Heading to the mountains in a couple more days so I really couldn't put it off.
Very busy day for Lyft yesterday.
At least I haven't had to put that much money into the truck since I got it in 2019. At almost 180k miles it's time to replace some components.

Just another day of fun over here

Had a 102 degree fever yesterday evening but feeling a lot better today

Liking my new gig at the aero startup, still waiting to hear back from Airbus but at this point I feel like it would pretty much take a 'make me move' offer at this point

Hopefully Mr Awesome will be in a better mood this afternoon because this morning he just kept running his mouth and getting into more and more trouble.

Took off today and am recovering from whatever it was

Chores

Hang with puppies and kitties

Purge some stuff while the wife is gone!

Need a new credit card. My main credit card is being "upgraded" and they want to raise the interest rate. I don't think so. What is good? I'm interested in the Costco card a bit.
