Easy 5 miler this morning.

Long day at work, but 3 day weekend awaits. No football to officiate tonight, and I've been stiff arming the wave of requests coming in all day so I can watch America's Team play tonight.

Did get car washed, oil changed and dentist yesterday, thus making tomorrow easier.

Saw The Phil Collins Story last night at Rudder. Great singer and band doing the show. Pretty loud for a Rudder show. Could have used more Genesis and less of his solo stuff that was later in his solo career.

Early meeting went better than expected.

Waiting on someone for a meeting. They aren't getting here promptly considering it was supposed start at 9am.

Slept hard. Just not enough.

Need to go get tacos.

I have reached the "no sleep" stage of the semester. I am Sofa King tired, but I'm gaining a newfound appreciation for Arnold Schoenberg's perspective. Too many undergrads are taught to hate his music without ever hearing a single note of it. One of my profs admitted she initially wondered if my writing was AI-generated. Should I be offended or flattered?

I got burnt out pretty early of so many superhero movies last decade... because I am an adult. But every once in a while, to find motivation, I pretend that I am a mild-mannered desk jockey awaiting until the hour I can continue my true fight.... because I am an adult.

-Medication has me feeling nauseous. Might just puke and get it over with

-Up earlyish to drop some shipments off at UPS

-Im about halfway through getting outdoor Halloween decorations up. I still need to put up the 12ft Skeleton, 12ft witch, 6ft pumpkin man, and find my dog machines.

-I ordered a custom license plate and it finally came in! I'd post a pic but I don't need any of you yahoos tracking name down. Trust me, it's very funny and if you know me IRL its related to one of my interests.

Slept like crap last night.
Truck is in the shop until tomorrow morning.
I bought a new battery at Costco since they wanted $364 to replace it!
Need to order a serpentine belt and put it on.
At trivia night now.
Also liking my freedom from these rough jobs with no benefits. I would rather do Lyft rides than put up with all the BS.
