Today I got to wondering if anyone ever cataloged all the non-original music played on that show. Turns out someone did it and even sorted it by episode. A true fan

The call letters WKRP were released a few months ago and snatched up by a station in Cincinnati and Gary Sandy (aka Andy Travis) did some voiceover stuff for them so that might be why there's a bit of a resurgence as well

One of my all time favorite shows. To this day I hear crazy ass, low rent, commercials on the radio that sound like Herb Tarlek himself signed them up a week ago

A couple years ago I pitched a "turkey drop" concept as an idea to raise awareness for food banks in the area. Basically we were going to have people build catapults or trebuchets to "drop" turkeys at a target, closest to the center wins a prize,etc.

Somehow nobody went for it.

On the radio earlier today, the hosts talked about Turnstile playing SNL this past Saturday. Said they were the first hardcore punk band to play SNL in 40+years, since Fear in 81. Apparently, Fear's set, with mosh pit and slamdancers resulted in $20k in damages, which naturally made me think those guys were really the Scum of the Earth
