Been getting a lot of Anthony Jeselnik lately. I really enjoy his stuff. I can never predict where his punchline is going to go. Would love to catch him live.

I also get a lot of Jimmy Carr who I think is fantastic. A lot of what I see from him is his Q&A sessions that get into some more philosophical stuff but I typically enjoy his take. I'm glad he's added that dimension to his shows. He has a great episode on the Modern Wisdom podcast if you enjoy that kind of thing.

Not a very big name and not a pure comedian but I really enjoy Jason Ladanye who is a card magician. I enjoy his shtick. His stage persona is extremely arrogant and snarky and the tricks are great. Seeing him in Dallas in March.

No, he just tried to kill himself after someone he met on Grindr tried to extort him for $500,000 for a sex tape. As noted on the Celebrity Death Pool thread, this raised two intriguing questions:

Ali Siddiq - guy from Houston.. impeccable delivery and story telling that happens to be hilarious




Andy huggins, another guy from Houston.. great one liner guy focused on old age, mitch hedberg style
He has a houston public transit joke in here



Brian Simpson
I like this guy's delivery too a little dave chappelle-ish as far as making current social issues funny/thought provoking.


This is the single best off the cuff crowd/improv ever, and ballsy as hell.
