Beautiful, warm, late summer morning in west Georgia/east Alabama.

Critters fed and coffee made.

Make it a good one in spite of what humankind and AI are up to.

Work stuff in Pasa-get-down-Dena this morning. Well, just got a call as I was 15 minutes away after a 2 hour drive that the guy I'm supposed to meet overslept and he lives in Spring. So, I have some time to kill before my next appointment in one of the not so great areas of Houston.

Day is off to a non-productive start, to say the least.

Slept hard but woke up a couple of times thinking it was time to get up, and had really vivid and active dreams

7am meeting was good. Skipped the 8am so I could go home and pick up my wife and take her to catch the shuttle to the airport

Good and productive afternoon ahead

Received a box of stuff yesterday that was my dad's stuff from way back. Some of it was stuff from or about my grandparents. There was some genealogy stuff in there as well. Pretty interesting. Being a young 20's person during the Great Depression was no picnic. Man…

You do a LOT of driving for work. I hope you get to use a company car or get paid buckets in compensation and/or both!

  • Was up until 2:30 AM getting parts for my Dolly Parton medley edited for the first rehearsal tonight
  • It's a brisk morning here in the PNW
  • Didn't realize my sister left the windows open on the RV I'm staying in, so it's 56 degrees inside
  • Going through all the guns that are in bad shape; it would make the Outdoors board cry
  • So much grad school work to do today

I'm a one man consulting business so it's my own rig. I bill by the hour and charge $.79 per mile so I'm OK there. Stock F150 - it's perhaps the quietest vehicle I've ever owned. Very comfortable, too. Dash cam (front and back) as I'm in Houston and DFW a lot.

I like driving, for some reason. Gotta a vacation roadie to Tucson with my wife for new year's planned (her vehicle...). I excited about that one.

Drug screening and background check for the new job earlier this morning
Mom's in town for a while because Ms Goofy's birthday is tomorrow
I'm cleaning up and doing random crap like taking apart and scrubbing down the cooktop in my free time
Halloween part stuff is almost totally figured out - all except for the long claws / nails the character has anyway

Don't to anything I wouldn't do!
