Woke up at 3 a.m.

77 degrees in the Fort.

Pull tires and load trucks.

Close tonight.

Recap of Friday night's high school football game. We were down 22-o in the 3rd quarter. One of our players had to be taken to Little Rock by Life Flight because of injuries sustained to the head and neck. He was released on Saturday morning after CT scans revealed no spinal cord damage. The game was canceled resulting in a no contest.

On perhaps my last business trip. Flying to White Planes. Managed to get upgraded to 1st class for both legs. Stewardess didn't even blink when I ordered bourbon and cokes at 6am.

  • Slept pretty decent, which is a shock since I've not slept in my own bed the last 2 nights.
  • Work from home this AM, head to office in the afternoon.
  • Was not a productive weekend (but that is okay).
  • Hoping for a fairly quiet day.

Working a couple hours of sleep - once or twice a year I'll have a white night where I just lay awake in the dark until 3 or 4. Office day, dog at daycare. Made cream cheese enchiladas last night and have some for lunch. My mom's recipe that I haven't made in a long time; I think I can probably improve it next time around. Maybe cardio tonight, but I'll probably be dragging ass.

Last dose of Paxlovid done and dusted. It's a beautiful late summer day here in west Georgia/east Alabama and laundry day. My duties are trash and litter box area cleaning and sanitizing. But critters are fed and coffee is made.

A jetty kind of morning with the trusty lemon rig. This is one of my designer models for the older crowd, the "Jack lemon". The "Lulu lemon" and "Meadowlark lemon" ate still in development for different demographics. A solid trout and a solid redfish for the effort.
