Dog walked, breakfast consumed. Work. Maybe go to Home Depot at lunch for a few bags of topsoil to fill in around my driveway.

I walked myself 2.25 miles. I will NOT be humped today, and that feels like a hate crime.

I absolutely hate it when people who report to me create documents in AI. Just f-ing hate it. But my boss is smitten by AI, so I have a report that refuses to do anything without AI anymore. Kissing the ass one up from you. It's the middle manager squeeze. Are we making an entire class of stupidity that cannot compose a simple document without AI?

I am so f-ing ready to retire….10 more years is going to seem like an eternity.

[/old man yelling at clouds rant]

I want B-1's retirement!

Prn is "as needed" or part time. A lot of our RNs come from the ICU and ER- as stick skills are a must. We facilitate home-based infusions for specialty pharmacies, mostly doing IVIG, SCIG, and some biologics, for medically complex patients.

- What kind of dirt do I need to buy if I need to fill holes in my yard that were dug by the dog? Top soil doesn't seem right.

Top soil would work. But make sure it's the same kind of soil that you have.

Went to the bank this morning and received what might have been the worst customer service in my 54 years on this earth. I'm writing a complaint letter to their management. It's been almost 20 years since I've written one of these.

How deep are the holes? You can use topsoil, but if the holes are deep, compact the soil every couple of inches.

For the last couple of weeks I've been dragging and sleeping a lot during the day. I drug out a different CPAP mask, slept great last night, and feel a bazillion times more rested today.

True story.

Well I wrote a complaint letter and mailed it to Simmons Bank corporate HQ in Arkansas. I'll be interested if they reply to me. Mom raised me to believe in the power of complaint letters (back in the 80s), but I don't really think companies care any more. I looked up Simmons Bank here in Columbia, MO, and their locations already have pretty dismal ratings.

Went for a long walk last night. Replaced the guts in a toilet tank afterwards. Took a shower and was in bed by 11am.

Didn't move until 4:10am. Drifted in and out until 5:45am and then got up and headed to work.

7:15am meeting was good. The 8am went long. They were chatty.

Leaving after the 1:15pm meeting and then off until Tuesday.

Freaking hot again today. It's not even noon yet!

This is why I didn't think top soil was the answer - not sure I am strong enough / have the right tools to compact it. The deepest is about 8 inches, so not crazy but deep enough that I need some advice. (twss)

I have a 10" tamp, but it's at my cabin and I won't be there until Labor Day weekend. If you can wait that long, you can borrow it.

As RTT mentions, the best tool is probably a tamper, which is just a metal plate on a wood handle. But if the space is too tight (twss), you can DIY with a piece of wood and a sledgehammer. That's what I'll wind up doing when I add soil around my driveway. I don't think you need a huge amount of strength for either method - youre not swinging the tool, just lifting and putting down with a little force.

Yeah, use the end of a 2x4 cut to about 2 or 3 feet long and just beat the soil down. That's how I do rock for fence posts.

I just use a hoe. You can tramp it down with a hoe.

Dirt isn't all the same. Sandy loam is not like a heavy clay soil. Clay and loam don't mix very well will have different water retention rates. But if you are just filling a hole in the yard…

Personally, I use composted manure.

Hoe and tramp in the same sentence. This will be fun.

The perils of being a working musician ... I'm about to see how fast I can crank out a band arrangement of Dolly Parton tunes.
