The popular breakfast food chain confirmed to USA TODAY that it is testing tacos in 45 locations in the Atlanta area for a limited time. Customers can choose between four breakfast taco options bacon, egg and cheese; sausage, egg and cheese; chicken sausage, egg and cheese; or ham, egg and cheese.
The chain is also offering three lunch and dinner tacos: patty melt, chicken melt and cheesesteak melt. All of the tacos are available at any time of day, according to Waffle House.

This doesn't really change much on their menu, it's the same stuff they already make, they just have to buy tortillas now. I call it a no-brainer.

Nah. Stick to what you are good at.

If I want breakfast tacos, I know to go to a Mexican restaurant with a menu written on a poster board, a bad paint job, a broken front door, a broken toilet, a dirty tile floor, and the family's teen, who is the only one who speaks English, working the cash register.

But Waffle House is for when you've got your drunk on. These tacos are for 2:30 AM when you want to put something in your stomach before crashing in bed. They look absolutely perfect.

In the morning (post-sunrise), that's when you worry about Hispanic perfection.

No brainer, they have everything else and the cost associated with tortillas is nothing on the grand scheme of things for Waffle House.

Tortillas that are not made in-house are garbage and ruin a taco.

It will probably go well in yankee states that don't know any better, but I don't see these going over well here.
