83 degrees in the Fort.

Pull tires and load trucks.

Peddle something today.

Leaving work at 1 p.m. today.

Have a doctor's appointment at 3 p.m. at the VA hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Office day, dog to daycare.

A warm summer day here in the Upland South of west GA/east AL. Critters fed, coffee made.
Because a good day starts with good coffee.
Make it a good one in spite of what the rest of humankind and social media are up to.

Went to bed at a more respectable hour

Didn't sleep as soundly as usual

Need to do some stuff today that I've been putting off

It's going to be freaking hot today. 102-104 at least

Time to get moving

MUCH nicer week this week than last.

-Not so Little Tatem started school today

-Had my first ever Bloom Energy Drink. I don't feel very energetic

-Made Mississippi Meatballs and Mashed Potatoes yesterday so dinner is ready for us when we get home!

• Did something to my back yesterday. It hurts to sit (lower right back). Not sure if I pulled something, sat too long the wrong way or what yesterday.
• Busy time at the work with back to school.
• Campus is a hot mess with dorm move in.
• Travel work tonight
• Try to read a little tonight as well.

- Day to kill in Chicago. Might go see the new presidential library, might check in to my hotel room and do nothing - TBD.

Slept great last night. Sweat too much this weekend and, considering I sweat a lot for work when I don't have office days...I refuse to sweat today. Not gonna do it.

Off to a good start for the day. Dentist for regular cleaning is done. Now I have gritty mouth but that will pass.

The White Sox are at the Cubs tonight. Go, and wear a White Sox hat!

On hold with the USPS. I mailed something to Newark, DE on Aug 6. It made it to Wilmington, DE (13 miles from the recipient) on 8/11. It's meandered for six days since. I want to confirm that they have the correct address.

This is an ebay sale. I google mapped my buyer's address, and it's an apartment complex with pictures. There's a building number and a unit number in the address. I can't imagine the issue.

Been on hold 21 minutes so far.

EDIT - Tried to file a package inquiry and was told that my package has not been en route for long enough to do that.

• It's already 88 degrees and increasing out at the cabin
• Goal is to do some trim work and get the side deck framed up before heading back to the Tine

Went to the Reagan Library the other day and got some pass that gets me into all of the presidential libraries EXCEPT Obama's which is apparently not an actual presidential library.

See if you can get them to change that policy while you're there.

I thought dorm move didn't start until Thursday?

Well, some have started because I can see the line of cars from my office and all of them. Keep trying to pull in the golf course parking lot.

Then buy whatever guitar he plays and send it to me!
