Why is the thread authored by AgFrogFan but the first post Is not by AgFrogFan?
There was some kind of glitch when I attempted to make my initial post on the TexAgs mobile app. I tried to post the same thing two more times and kept receiving a message that the post couldn't go through. It could have been that the word "sacrilege" stirred up a red flag within the system.
I apologize for the confusion. The post was actually intended to be a friendly rivalry gesture from a TCU perspective since Texas A&M officially opened their new Downtown Fort Worth campus. (Which is highly impressive if you ever have a chance to visit in person.)
My Mother asked me a couple of months back if I could repaint the ATM dinner chime that I gifted to her years back which came out as Purple and White...
Anyways, Welcome to Horned Frog country Texas A&M University! Now please go win a National Football Championship.
I want you to quit whackin' that dinner bell for supper. You can hit it at noon if you want to, but lay off doin' it in the evenin'. See, a man with any sense at all can tell when it's sundown, without you whackin' that bell.
First I was about to say "Fish camp has taken it too far" based on the OPs first picture and also later pictures.
After reading I kinda like it. "(dormant) rivalry"? They've been keeping us from from the bottom of aevery barrel for a long time.
Years since last football national championship: 88 - TAMU 89 - TCU
Texas A&M University - has never appeared in an official National Championship Game or a College Football Playoff National Title Game. Fact.
TCU - as a Phoenix among the ashes of the Southwest Conference, was able to climb the ladder of hard work and determination appearing in the 2011 Rose Bowl (Andy Dalton vs. J.J. Watt) in which TCU maintained a perfect record. "F you Ann Richards and your Gaylor line."
Here's why "Gig Em" is important. TCU appeared in a National Championship against Georgia on January 9th, 2023. Sonny Dykes did a hekkuva job with Gary Patterson's team. There was no way in our shared universe that TCU should have been on the same field as those bulldogs. But it happened. And I'd much rather root for a Reveille than a bulldog bite.
If we (TCU, Riff Ram Bah Zoo) can fight against the best on the top of that hill. Then by god, the Aggies can win it. Kings of the Hill.
"Fight 'Em 'Til Hell Freezes Over, Then Fight 'Em On the Ice" - Dutch Meyer
Didn't TCU appear in a game against Georgia yet somehow not show up at the same time?
Redundancy is the MK of Aggie. All talk no show. Prove yourself wrong. Negative begets Negative but for Aggie never makes positive. Check your terminals.
maroon, I already covered that in my previous comment. TCU made it to the NC game and got wiped off the map. No one was beating Georgia's team that year. It's probably why Harbaugh didn't bother to cheat on us.
At least the underdog made it to fight on that mountain.
Again, I'll wait for you to provide us with your Aggie Diploma. Clearly hooked-on-phonics was a waste of financial resources towards you.
