- half day today, leave in about an hour
- no big plans the rest of the day
- tomorrow I'm headed to *Comfort for a little overnight getaway with the gf (who just got back from a Rhine River cruise). She's spoiled, but I can't help myself.
- that's all I got
If you haven't had a chance to visit Comfort for a weekend, I highly recommend it. It's the next place to flourish. Most of the smaller communities around San Antonio are getting overwhelmed with people...Boerne, I-35 corridor, Seguin, Fredericksburg. We stayed in Comfort over New Years and it was a very pleasant trip. Slow, quiet. We stayed at Camp Comfort (
https://camp-comfort.com) and it was really peaceful, creekside property. There are a few shops and restaurants and some local wineries. Comfort Pizza is legit, but they are slow putting out pizzas. It's all outdoor seating and there is a good selection of craft beer to enjoy while you're waiting. We also went to High's Cafe & Store last time and it was also really good (good reviews).
