One of those mornings

So I was listining to Possum Kingdom this morning and I think its about vampires.

Realized this morning that I ordered the wrong power supply. I have an HP Mid-Tower, and I ordered a PSU for an HP desktop. Entirely on me. Luckily the ebay seller has a one month return window, so I can get my money back. Once I'm back from Branson, I will order the correct power supply. Disappointing as I was looking forward to using the new GPU that the PSU is meant to power today.

Will be doing lots of stuff in Branson this weekend. And a cool front is coming. It isn't forecast to top 90F while we're there. We're going to see a couple of caves, an aquarium, go to Silver Dollar City, do a "Pink Jeep" tour of a local lake, and make knives. I've also request lunch Sunday at Pasghetti's.

I'll be coming home with a railroad spike knife that I made myself!

Second driveway quote received. $9/sqft, 3500 psi with fiber mesh. Scheduled three more quotes. May have a new driveway before the end of August.

Pretty sure I know who you are talking about, and I had not interacted with him often over the years but he was always great to deal with when I did.

Slept well last night

Another 7am meeting. It was good.

The 8am meeting was pretty upbeat and that group was talkative.

Good day overall. Raised a concern about an issue and leadership acted on it and it turned out to be a good thing. Headed off a big problem that would have been messy and expensive.

Eating dinner at a sports bar. At the actual bar. Bar talk is horrible. Lots of people trying to impress each other and all of them sound like morons. One woman just explained to everyone how Astroturf got its name like she discovered plutonium.

Two other people are just miserable and I think they are kinda on a date and the woman keeps cursing like a sailor to maybe try to impress everyone that she's "one of the guys" and just comes across as bitter.
