Beautiful sunny summer day in west GA/east AL. Critters fed and coffee made.
Because a good day starts with good coffee.
Make it a good one in spite of what humankind and the voracious summer ants are up to.

7am meeting went well.

Have an NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB GPU arriving today. Once I've installed it (and the new power supply to power it), I will be transitioning from Debian Linux to Windows. NVIDIA just works better under Windows. I want to get into generating AI images locally. I also want to play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (I'm still playing FS2004). I've used AMD GPUs for a long time, but a lot of AI models are NVIDIA-only.

When I'm back from Branson I'm going to order 64GB of RAM and see what I can get on ebay for the 32GB that I currently have.

I really hate peeing. We got anyone working on this? Can AI come up with something? We can make robots kick each other's heads off, but we're still here having to pee just like we did 10,000 years ago. Let's work on things that matter, ok? Before we go back to the moon or Mars, maybe we should work on not having to pee without tubes being stuck up our no no zones.

ChatGPT is my new best friend. We talk all day about maxing out a six year old PC. ChatGPT knows *a lot* about 2020 vintage hardware!
