Office day, dog at daycare. First driveway quote came in at $9.75/sqft - 4000 psi with wire mesh, broom or picture frame finish, saw cut joints. We'll see how the other quotes come in.

Went to bed too late. Slept great.

Have to get some movement this week. Was too sedentary for the past few days.

A couple meetings today. And a lunchtime visit with a friend that is bringing her dog to the small animal clinic for a checkup for whatever surgery he had.

Learned a song last night. Need to try it with vocals.

Schipperke appears to be on the rebound for whatever bug he picked up at daycare but he's not completely back to normal. Poor puppy.

This friend was waiting for me this morning when I headed to work.

  • Slept decent
  • Back to the grind today.
  • It was really nice being away 98% from job #1 this past week. And from M-F last week, I only did maybe 3-4 hours of travel work. It was really nice to have the mental break. Worked 9 hours yesterday
  • Diet Coke and a boudin kolache from Karma.
  • Not too many meetings today
  • Travel work tonight
  • I need to sell 1 more trip in the next 4 days to hit a goal. Someone book a trip!

  • Stayed up late watching The Sheep Detectives
  • Parlor Panther #1 continues to find new and creative ways to annoy me into getting up to feed them
  • Made some delicious coffee
  • Took the leap and got rid of my Senior Boots. I donated them to the boot loan program so future cadets can benefits from them. I figure they aren't doing anyone any good collecting dust at my house.

When you get to a certain age, every pair of boots you own are senior boots.

Apparently the mosquitoes where I was did not get the message.

I think someone crossed an eagle with skeeters where I was. Suckers would dive bomb you and drive it in deep.

Neighborhood internet / cable went out last night, so I told one of my retired neighbors he could invite one friend to come to my house and "help" me cut out/ install a scuttle hatch in my pantry. THEY WERE SO HAPPY! Like little kids running out to their trucks every time they could get a new tool to use. And they could still follow doctors' orders by not working outside in the heat. I'm such a good friend.
