1989 Ford Escort GT purchased for $9591 from Varsity Ford in Bryan on 10/7/1989. I didn't start college until August 1990.

The odometer quit working at 145,380 and I drove it another three years, that's why I remember that number. Sold it in 2000 not long after my son was born. With all the years of abuse, it needed some work that exceeded it's value. I sold it for $1,000 to a coworker and he blew the engine 3-4 months later and sent it to it's likely grave.
