Office day. Dog didn't want to leave the house but was happy once we got to day care. Supposed to get rain this week - may take the opportunity to lay fertilizer in the yard (that's not a euphemism).

Sappy pet story for y'all, since my pets bring joy to my life.

Parlor Panther #1 is generally a bully and poor Parlor Panther #2 just wants to love her. Last night while she was laying next to me in bed he nervously crept up next to her and after several minutes of what I figure was serious contemplation of the potential ramifications, laid down next to her for the very first time. We're talking full body contact snuggles. She woke up and lifted her head to look at him and his eyes got that "Oh ****" look, but she went back to sleep. They slept snuggled together until 6:00 AM. It was adorable and I hope it means she'll be less of a bully now.

She won't.

Our big orange cat and our speckled cow kitty spat about all sorts of stuff but when it's time to sleep, especially in winter, they are good about snuggling together.

But then they wake up and clock in and are foes like the sheepdog and the coyote on Loony Tunes.

I totally get this. Our younger female cat is a bully. The older male cat is generally a sweetheart, this is why male lions hang out together in the wild.

My two cats really get along well. They spar more or less daily, but take social grooming breaks during the sparring.

I started today with an estimated delivery for my new PC between 11:10 AM and 3:10 PM. It's now between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
