Happy Red, White and Blue Day!

  • Slept like crap (whats new)
  • Laid in bed awhile as to not wake the hubs
  • 1.8 mile walk. It's quite humid out there
  • Just cracked open a crisp Diet Coke and starting to work. Got a lot of that to do today
  • Grilling hamburgers for inlaws, and mom and brother this evening. That will make 2 days in a row of cooking!
Get this. Clients currently on an 18 day luxury (Regent) Iceland and Greenland cruise. Texted me 2 days ago they wanted to book a 65 Day Grand Voyage and asked if I would take care of it. UMM YES.

IT IS SOLD OUT. Now I can get them segments 2 and 3, which they are fine with. But goodness gracious. I want all 65 days lol.

The Tall Ship Parade in New York is pretty damn awesome. My favorite is the Liberty from Argentina - what an incredible ship.



And while many nations had shps in this parade, and then here comes Texas with Elissa

Doesn't sound good, but I guess it's no different than a Big Red margarita.

I had been excited to try one but put it off forever cause I didn't want the caffeine late at night. Finally got one at Casa Rod. Disappointed was an understatement. I'll stick with my regular margs.


On a side note (since I posted this on the wrong thread):

Pumped.

We had just booked regular hotel near Gulf Shores for kiddos softball tourney later in July. Finally sat down to research more and booked a beachfront 2 bed/2 bath condo. Will be nice to be near the beach, have all the extra space and bathroom AND washer/dryer. And 15-20 min closer.

Kitchen doesn't matter cause I won't likely cook Although definitely will pick up breakfast items.

Was up until 4 working on my PC this morning. Then I had an idea when I was not quite asleep. Woke up a little before 11, tried my idea, and it fixed the problem. It will make setting up the new PC quite a bit easier if I can run it along-side the old one for a few days, so I'm happy I have it back up and running.

Under an extreme heat warning today. Another day that it feels like Houston outside. I'm inside with my A/C set on 75F (which keeps it 79F in my bedroom) and the ceiling fan cranked. On that note, I think I'm going to get a Dr. Pepper Zero sugar refill. You can refill any size cup (up to 100oz) for 99 cents until Labor Day. I'll be drinking excessive amounts of soda for the rest of summer.

Watching Canada vs Morocco in soccer. Hokey smokes this game has been boring.

Will listen the the neighbors blow sh** up tonight.

It sort of proves the Darwin axiom. Of course, in any given Atlanta mall on a holiday weekend the chances of Grady or Emory getting some GSW patients is about 90+ %.

If I'm at a restaurant and get a DP I always get lime wedges. It really adds to the flavor.
