All my rowdy friends have settled down
And it seems to be more in the laid-back songs
Nobody wants to get drunk and get loud
Everybody just wants to go back home

Work from home although have an appointment in Magnolia in the middle of the day. Need to mow the front yard.

Humid here on the mean streets of metro College Station.

Another rainy day in West Georgia-east Alabama so coffee first.
Because a good day starts with good coffee.
Make it a good one in spite of what humankind and effing Hollywood are up to.

I have a bad cough and the runs.

Need to take my car to the shop because it's making weird noises when I make a hard right turn. Hoping it's not anything serious. Maybe a ball joint or CV something per the Google machine. Maybe it is under warranty. Who knows.

  • Had to skip the diet coke today and go straight for a Monster. Attack your heart before it attacks you, I always say.
  • World Cup starts this week!
  • My first volunteer shift isn't till the 19th but I have my kilt all ready to go for a Scotland watch party on Saturday.
  • My wife settled on the 85th heritage edition Jeep and now I am just going back and forth with a few dealers letting them negotiate against each other.
  • In today's Geo Tracker History, the original sketches for Jurassic Park tour vehicles had several options before they settled on Jeeps and Ford explorers. One of the options that wasn't picked was a Geo Tracker.
  • Have fun out there folks!

I know a lot men buy sports cars, motorcycles, or expensive vehicles for a midlife crisis.

I just want to buy some fun little cheap cars to zip around in while drinking a diet coke and listening to some music.

Talked to my neighbor over the weekend who had been bawling for days because she thinks a fox got her cat. I told her that the cat had decided it lives on top of the jeep in my car park. Neighbor came to get the cat, cat moved back to the jeep. Tell the neighbor again, cycle repeats. I like the neighbor too much to do what I should, so I guess I have a cat now. At least it keeps it's distance.

It's a big myth that foxes are danger to cats. Generally speaking unless the cat is sick/injured or the fox is starving with no other options they will leave cats alone. There are much smaller and easier prey options for foxes as cats tend to fight back.
