Earlier this week, our 9 year old daughter was looking at a dollar bill and commented that it had the President on it. It sparked a conversation that ended something like this:

"Do you know who the current President is?"

"Ummmmm... Something with Thomas J. Henry?"

*Mom and Dad losing it with laughter*

"No, honey, he's just a local lawyer. Donald Trump is the President of the country."

"Oh, yeah, that guy!"


Yesterday, my wife was taking her to a doctor's appointment and passed a Thomas J. Henry billboard. She pointed it out and said, "See, look. He's just a local lawyer. Do you remember who I told you was the President?"

"Ummmmm... Is it Jim Adler?"

Fortunately I'm unlikely to get hit by enough trucks to try them all and see who's the best.

Dang, didn't know that. OD'd two days after the funeral for his 16 year old daughter that committed suicide.

Yeah it was rough. I helped arrange the funeral services and used to be a camp counselor to the kiddos at Camp Longhorn

Do you not have kids? Most elementary schools do fake elections every four years, and students get to wave signs for the candidates. Easy television filler for the local networks.

It's a surprise if the kids don't know.

They had a falling out (iirc the allegation was Nguyen was being shady with the accounting and holding their trademark hostage). Lawsuits were filed. They resolved their differences and came back together. Surprise... the partnership fell apart again in less than a year. Then Pusch moved on to Wynne. I'm too lazy to check, but I think the underlying lawsuit is still ongoing.
