We knew the barber in Pleak for years. That barber shop was tiny.

A tiny little town called Dallas. I'm sure you've never heard of it.

Small suburb of Charlotte, isn't it?

Its a shame so many of us have spent time in Hearne TX. It would definitely be the winner

I spent a bunch of overnights at a friend's grandparents house when I was in high school. They lived in Bugscuffle Tx.

My aunt and uncle lived in Tehuacana (Tah-WOCK-uh-nee) a for several years. It's in Limestone County near Mexia.

We lived in Rosanky (Bastrop Co) for about 6 years..

Bonnie View

…used to play for dances (keyboards and sax) there in a band that included another Ag - he's no longer with us - in a converted tractor barn. We pulled some great crowds from the surrounding area (Refugio, Woodsboro, Sinton, Taft, Rockport, Gregory, Portland, etc.) …and New Years Eve was a blast! It was just an intersection of county roads with a few buildings and houses but a hell of a lot of fun on Saturday nights (and holidays).

My family owns McQueeney Hall in "downtown Mcqueeney".

I think Marion is bigger than McQueeney, they have a high school. My brothers went there.

I miss the old Hot Shots fish fry that was on lake McQueeney.

Lots of good times at Hot Shots, especially the Friday night fish fries.
did you ever go to Goerkes?

Back when I was in middle school, my folks were looking at lakes to buy a lakehouse or property at.

I remember going to Lake McQueeney as one of our trips.

They bought land at Medina Lake (canyon, now) instead.
