First day back after a week off. I can't wait to retire and say good bye to the **** show.

37 degrees at the home of the Cowboys and Rangers. Will be brisk all week. Maybe the leaves will fall from my trees. Never had them hang on into December before.

  • I am savior of the office this morning for fixing the coffee maker
  • Unfortunately that translates into absolutely nothing except for being the person go ask every time it acts up from this point on
  • Mr Awesome has piojos which is not very awesome, so he's not at school today
  • Need to load up a bunch of music on the iPod I modded last weekend.
  • 512GB of memory + every game ever made for the classic kind should be fun

Contact roofer to get a schedule on a new roof. They have been waiting on us

This gopher in our yard does not want to go thru any of the traps. He has been more difficult than any of the others and it's annoying

We're forecast to have 2" to 4" of snow today, and it's starting to snow now. I'd thought they would call school, but they didn't. Just dropped Benny off, and they haven't treated the roads. I hate it when people don't think ahead.

Should be an uneventful day (week, really) at work.

Cool winter morning in west Georgia/east Alabama with a high of only 53. I don't think I can take this harsh winter weather, so, coffee plus a cemita roll for breakfast.

A good starts with good coffee (and a sweet bread roll).

We're under a Winter Weather Advisory. Not rocket science that they should have pre-treated the roads.

Too late now as the real snow just started. I'm going to have to drive in this mess picking Benny up from school later.

On the other hand, with it being so chilly, my kitties are spending the day napping against each other on my bed next to my work desk. Socially grooming at this moment. I'm told I'm lucky that my two female cats get along. They absolutely love each other.

I lived in Ohio for not quite a year back in 1995-96. I liked Iron City beer. Not the light version but the regular.

Tanya and I actually spent our first wedding anniversary in Pittsburgh. We went to an Astros/Pirates game at Three Rivers and stayed in the same hotel as the Astros. It was a Hilton back then (1996).
