I don't know if I've ever been on a flight with someone wearing scrubs. I've never really noticed what other people are wearing. I have worn shorts and flip flops on a flight before. It was glorious! I'm sure scrubs can't be far behind that level of comfort.

Do you put your feet up on the back of the seat in front of you?

Those scrub dispensers make it almost completely unnecessary. Those that use rfid or code can be set so the reps can scrub up and then change back while leaving.

When I was in med school and residency, before they put in scrub dispensers, the VA was apparently losing a lot of scrubs. They changed their scrubs to what was essentially a turd brown color. It was the only clever thing I think I ever saw done on behalf of a VA hospital. The miniature golf course behind the VA was a good idea, but that was put in before I started my training.

Haha! No. I felt a little weird being the only dude wearing flip flops in the entire airport. The 2.5 hr trip was the best I've ever had, though. I'll probably never do it again.

I'm glad scrubs are my daily work wear in the ER, but I never wear them out and about. Like another poster said, it's a pet peeve of mine to see people bring the hospital germs out and about like that.

It's a thirst signal. They want you to take them to the mile high club.

Who are these girls, are they hot, and are they taking appointments?

I work in EMS and won;t wear my uniform or boots in the station. If yall think hospitals are bed, you should see patient's homes.

When I see this I cancel my flight. The chance of these dorks breaking out in spontaneous dance routines on the flight is not something I want to be a part of.

I've had to do it multiple times. No time to change between the OR and airport.

Please tell me you're an orthobro who kept the space helmet on through security.

Leaving work to go somewhere or going somewhere to work

Takes no more than a couple of minutes to change.

These people just want to let people know that they're a doctor or nurse and that they're important people.

I wear Scrubs about 50% of the time I work (Med Device) and it's never occurred to me I'm trying to look important. Dumbass take

Did a brief stint as an EMT and the number one takeaway I have is that there are FAR more hoarders and borderliners then people realize. And not the cardboard boxes and newspapers kind either.

Don't know what that is so pretty sure I am not. You seem obsessed, possibly threatened by these orthobros, though.

do you guys really assume doctor or nurse when you see someone in scrubs? You know house cleaners, dog groomers, and nail salon workers often wear them too.

As someone who works with EMS on a daily basis, I can confirm that they go into people's homes that I would not dare step foot in.

Never was a fan of double breasted suits. I would have enjoyed a chance to have a martini and cigarette with Mr. Draper.

Cats are popular. Decaying food seems to be a favorite. Old medications. Rascal mobility scooters.
