National Pecan Pie Day

Another beautiful sunny day in west Georgia/east Alabama. Temps close to 90, so maybe a morning (short) bike ride and the swimming pool later.

-going to the Boop matinee before it closes tomorrow
-doing brunch beforehand at some rooftop place in midtown (midtown ugh)
-they cut down the huge tree in front of my building yesterday and now I am sad

Dog declined walk, breakfast consumed. Walk to gym, worked out (new split), walked back. Haircut this afternoon.

Up at 3am.
Started riding at 4am.
Picked up group at 8:10am.
Finished riding at 10:30am.
102 miles in the books.

Spent a little bit building birthday Lego (Artimes Launch System)

Cooking chicken fried venison backstrap for dinner later.

The pool was great today. But we live in a fairly affluent over 55 community and I continue to be amazed at the number of "grandchildren" who show up at our pool.

I'm astonished at the number of teenage girls that jam their bikini bottoms up their cracks thong like these days

I say that as an old with a teen daughter who doesn't (at least in front of me thank god), not as a pervert like wbt

Also lots of older chicks think they can pull this look off too, but are unsuccessful.

While I wholeheartedly agree, I will tell you as a parent of a teen and looking for myself, it is so hard to find full coverage bottoms. I'm grateful my kiddo is more modest but it's hard to find them.

Packed for a trip.

Got a room at the airport hotel so I don't have to deal with a 3:30am wake up and any chances of issues between home and the airport in the morning.
