Hold up. I just learned something new. Apparently if you donate part of your liver the damn thing regenerates and returns to its normal size and capacity within a few months. I had no idea.

Fun fact, i work in EMS and we had a patient with a BP of 40/29. That patient was in tough shape bit we got her fixed up and got her to the hospital. That was a little stressful as a relatively new paramedic. Anyway hope everything goes well so you can heal up!

I've been wondering if you were a candidate for a liver transplant or kidney transplant.

9 liters of fluid. Good Lord that must be uncomfortable before they remove it. And while they remove it.

I had mine resected. I was told at the time that they could take up to 75% of your liver and it will grow back in 2-3 weeks. Not sure which is more accurate but both are crazy.

They took about 30% of mine.

It's an amazing organ.
