Headed home today. Predictably, flight out of IAD is delayed, meaning I cannot make a connection in ATL, so changing that last leg of the trip.

They are having their first ever mass layoff. Something like 1800 corporate folks. My wife works for one of their Learning Development teams. Looks like they are probably gonna cut most, if not all of that part of the company. Pretty sure this is part of appeasing that Elliot Investment Group. Sucks because financially things were starting to be on the upswing again after the 2022 debacle and dealing with the fallout of Boeing issues

• Daughter is only 11 and already has a potential knee injury; doctor tomorrow
• Bible study tonight with a neighbor who wants to learn more about JESUS
• Found my mother/son dance song for his wedding and I've been stupid emotional all day after hearing it
• Chicken and dumplings for dinner since it will be so cold

-Cold today, it was -1 with a few inches of snow on the ground when I got up this morning
-Been snowing non stop since I woke up so we might get up to 8 or 9 inches when its all done.
-Toast and Jam with a cup of Golden Rooibos tea for breakfast.
-Only a couple of meetings today.
-Going to clear the sidewalks in the neighborhood after work today.
-Stay warm out there folks.
