Many years ago, Valentine's Day is the day I found out my ex was cheating. Saved a crap ton of money by not having a wedding and eventual divorce. Sucked at the time but I consider myself fortunate.

-It was a whole 20 degrees warmer when I woke up today (22)
-Snow forecasted for tomorrow
-My wife got me a very nice Barbour sweater in London
-I'm told by my niece's that today is also Clifford the Big Red Dog's birthday
-Had an Irn Bru for breakfast
-Got some new tea to try out this afternoon. A Scottish blend and some fancy Twinning's Golden Tipped English Breakfast tea.
-Sim racing later this weekend

  • FINALLY slept through the night. Thanks Tylenol PM. I was close to tears yesterday.
  • Meetings this AM.
  • 1/2 day in the office- kiddo has softball games.
  • Travel quotes this evening.
  • Hoping for some sun and for the wind to die down some this afternoon.

Slept hard for most of the night. Just not enough.

Contractor at the house today fixing some stuff. They did other stuff yesterday.

Meeting canceled this morning so that's good.

Had to go clean up someone else's mess. Not good.

Try to knock out some work and get on with the day and weekend.

- mowed the lawn. It just looked like hell with a little bit of green carpet grass and all that dead stuff
- can't get warm today
- fresh picked creamed spinach tonight. My lettuce and spinach is going ape $&#@ right now
