Alternate Methods of Instruction (AMI) day today because of the snow. My sophomore got his day's work done in 18 minutes. I can't believe the school district considers this education.

  • Pup has been getting up obscenely early lately. I finally just locked her out of the bedroom this morning until 6:30.
  • Had a Blackberry Dr. Pepper in lieu of coffee (once you go blackberry ...)
  • Continuing education course got canceled so I have more free time today
  • I need to get some primary melodic material composed for my new piece

Cold and sunny today. Expect to get above freezing tomorrow. I was one of those Texans who once thought I would love winter (at least a little bit).
I have directed traffic in -15 degree weather, worked numerous wrecks on icy roads and freeways done enough exercise in freezing weather that I have just had enough and look forward to warmer temps.

The zero sugar version taste much less sweet. It tastes more like blackberry than sugar.

- Today was a tough day. Decisions that affect other people's livelihood really sucks, even when it's out of your control.
- Cut my nails short and it's an adjustment.
- Flying back to Iowa tomorrow where there's snow on the ground. Yay for that.
