Man who treated my like one of sons for the last 30+ years passed away.

Back to the daily grind.

Woke up from a dream at 4:30am

Attempted to go back to sleep. Did not succeed

Oh, goodie. A computer update first thing in the morning

Got some yard work done yesterday. There is so much more to do but only so many hours in the day and had inside projects and some work to do

Had to make a Wal-Mart run yesterday for a couple things. The kid that rang me up looked like he could not be bothered to work. The whole experience was a big downer or something. Maybe go work at HEB or Costco? They always seem to be in a good mood

Gonna need a taco soon

Maybe people can make good choices this week. Maybe. It could happen…

I had a dream where I was providing free consulting services to former colleagues and then it got really windy.

Dreams like that are hard to shake.

Currently cloudy and 30F. Will warm up another five degrees or so today. Light snow tomorrow, and then big snowstorm on Wednesday. Have my ice melt and shovel ready, and I'm ready to sled. Just need Wednesday to get here.

Aggie baseball on Friday (shouldn't be snowing in Aggieland).

- Need some caffeine and some food or I'm at risk for falling back asleep.
- Visit the tiiiiny rec center and cancel my membership. It's not working. It's them, not me.

-Decided to try out a new coffee this morning, Independence Coffee Co Liga Privada. Not Bad so far!
-Super bowl was a bit of a bummer overall, at least the snacks were top tier
-I got a new snow blower a few weeks ago and finally fired it up yesterday. With 4-6 inches of snow predicted tue/wed and I am pumped.
-Wife is still out of the country till thursday so I am meeting some friends at my favorite sports bar for dinner.
- I have no idea what's for lunch. Someone toss out a suggestion
-Have fun out there folks!

Brilliant, sunny cold day in the West. Gotta work at clearing out more clutter and giving away/trashing decades of accumulated stuff.

I suggest Red Rock brew pub/restaurant, Cafe Molise for Italian and Red Iguana for Oaxacan Mexican food. Rio Grande Cafe for Mexican ain't bad, either. If you have time, the Browning Museum for firearms in Ogden is great for a stroll-through. Hill AFB aircraft museum is one of my faves.
