Why do they all start with a bunch of stupid nonsense words. I don't care about your story behind it, or how it warms your soul on a cold night. And they all do it. Is it about making the page length longer so I have to scroll and they can sell more ads? Just gimme the ingredients and instructions.

Get the Paprika 3 app on your phone for $5

Then you can download recipes from the websites and skip all of the stories

Yes. You could always buy a cookbook if you didn't want to see ads.

This is why I use chatgpt for my recipes

Sure, it tells me to use ingredients that aren't actually food and gets some of the amounts wrong, but that's half the fun

It's also part of why you found the recipe. That long ass story is is designed to boost their SEO so you can find that recipe over others.

Most of those sites have a jump to the recipe link that lets you skip the story.

This. And yes, on most of them you can jump to the recipe. But really the best tip is to find a few chefs you really like and bookmark their site or substack. Most of them have recipe catalogs without all the blah blah blah.

There's a website where you can paste the link of a recipe and it will display ingredients and recipe on one page with no filler.

Can't remember it.

Allrecipes.com usually has a brief paragraph, a picture, and then jumps right in with a list of ingredients. Pretty solid cooking website.
