I haven't seen mail (or a mail truck) in 4 days.

I saw my letter carrier today. He handed me my mail while I was taking the garbage out.

In our area, there were a bunch of carriers out with the flu this week

Many of them should be. Took over 2.5 months to get mail delivery at our new house. Sent one letter, called five times, filled out forms online, received three calls that they were going to get it done, and got a lot of mail that was not mine.

At our old house, they delivered the mail to all five houses on the cul-de-sac to one house.

During Christmas, they held most packages at the post office and said it was at the customer's request, when no such request was made.

Turn the post office over to Musk. He could fire half of them and get better service than we get currently.

A lot of my packages recently get to the Dallas distribution center, sit there for a couple of days, then arrive at the San Antonio distribution center, sit there for a couple of days, then finally get sent to my local post office. The last 3 things i have ordered have arrived about a week later than the projected delivery date.

Packages are one thing. I'm talking about regular mail. 5 days now with nothing, not even junk mail.

So, my wife contacted the post office yesterday to file some kind of report (can't remember what it was called). So today at 10am, the doorbell rings. It's the mailman, who has a few pieces of mail and tells us that he hasn't been delivering it because it wasn't much. He was waiting until we had a few more pieces of mail to deliver. What?
