My uncle is planning a dinner party for tomorrow night with nowhere for people to sit, lol. I'm gonna get out of here for that.

Housecleaning done yesterday.
Coffee today. The wife gifted me a Corsicana fruticake so that is breakfastish-sort of.
I gifted her decaf coffee from the Salt Lake Roasting Company plus a Taste of Georgia variety pack.

We are big spenders as you can tell.

Well, we did pay for plane tickets for kids and grandkids to come visit.

Out to dinner tonight. Eat way too much.
Home to watch the last unmeaningful football game that I care about this year, to be disappointed by a team that has no idea I exist or cares that I exist. Team will probably be terrible and game will not be over until 1:00 am. Will over think game and not be almble to sleep. Will take melatonin and fall asleep about 4:00 am. Wake up late tomorrow am and feel crappy all day and get nothing accomplished.

We've been trying to get our tv to connect to WiFi for 3 days because Iowa State plays tomorrow and A&M plays tonight. Haven't been successful yet. Hopefully Luis can come out tomorrow and make it happen. In the mean time, I guess I have to go to a bar to watch the game.

Why do people in small towns stare SO hard?! Everyone keeps looking at me, it's creepy. An old guy offered to hold my shirt if I needed him to. Cool. Cool cool cool.

I never figured you as the football watching type. Hope you find a fun bar to watch it at.

So you're in a hotel/motel, your TV hasn't worked for three days, but "Luis" (maintenance guy?) has been too busy to fix it?

I do not like the white helmets.

I'm at my family home in Iowa and we called Luis tonight at 8 PM. He's coming tomorrow between 10-11 am. I'll keep you posted.

I am wearing normal clothes, including pants. It's 30 degrees up here, no cut off tshirts for me.

I mean, technically I'm wearing pants.

Maybe it's just a common courtesy in the Midwest?

Turns out whatever dipshht emptied it out last time dropped the lid in and just covered it up so my capacity isn't what it should be.

Also, i must say i am humbled by the warm response to my posts about this subject.
