Cold front moves through today.

Lows in the 30's through the weekend.

High today 59 degrees.

I am not a fan of cold weather.

Rinse, recycle repeat day.

Ready for 5 p.m.

Also woke up at 4:30am because my body was unhappy with me.

One meeting down. Headed to the next one.

A couple more later. Maybe three.

I have to do some work somewhere in all this!

I made salad for our company pot luck. The primary ingredients are Jell-o and pudding.

• Pups up at 6:00
• Made some delicious coffee
• Day 4 of 6 consecutive days in Huntsvegas (thank God all those miles are going on a rental)
• Band rehearsal tonight

- Went to bed early and woke up at 2. Struggled until 4. Irritating as hell.
- Quarterly PCP appt today.

It's not that.

It's how are you hearing about firings if you aren't at a job? Someone where you used to work got fired?

Maybe! I'm also on a nonprofit board and have been doing contract consulting.

On the bright side, it's just a two letter jump from firing to hiring.

It was both somehow not that bad and terrible. The actual procedure itself was ok. A few spikes of pain here and there and general discomfort all around but definitely bearable w/o complaint.

Terrible because I have a small mouth (DM me bois, for my hourly rate) and basically had to have my mouth in the widest open position I can do....for nearly two hours straight. My body is f'ing stupid and likes to throw roadblocks every time I go under the knife. This time? My canals are not straight apparently. So they could not be drilled, but literally hand filed with tiny little files the size of thumbtacks essentially. Took forever and by the second half my jaw muscles were shrieking in pain. Just had to bear it though of course. The anesthetic is still mostly there right now but tomorrow will probably be pretty sore from the procedure itself I was warned.

Soooo....2/10 would not recommend.

JK, if you need one done, don't even think about it and just get it over with. Consistent tooth pain is the pits.

Had a root canal done many years ago. The procedure felt weird but not particularly painful. The jaw pain the next day from keeping my mouth wide open for so long was not fun.

Can confirm. Jaw is already locked up. I try to open more than whisper wide and feels like bolts of electricity shooting through my jaw muscles. I can't even massage them without that same feeling and intensity. Tough times over here. When they took the dental dam off, it took me a solid 8-10 seconds to be able to close my mouth. Damn thing was rigidly locked open.

This was my furthest molar back and not a front tooth btw. So I had to basically distend my jaws for two hours for them to get access. Just for further context.

Tomorrow is going to be fuuuuun.
